Technip picked for Arctic LNG 2
Novatek has signed an engineering, procurement, supply, construction and commissioning contract with TechnipFMC for the Arctic LNG 2 project in Russia. 

The 19.8 mn tonnes per year project will consist of three liquefaction trains, with the first scheduled to come online in 2023. 
Second phase of Johan Sverdrup approved
The Norwegian authorities have approved phase two of Johan Sverdrup oilfield development. Phase two of the development, which is planned to start up in Q4 2022, will increase field production from 440,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 660,000 bpd.
Total eyes sale of Kashagan stake
Sources suggest that Total is seeking to sell part of its stake in Kazakhstan’s giant Kashagan oilfield to raise up to USD4 bn.
Maire Tecnimont wins USD700 mn of contracts
Maire Tecnimont said its main subsidiaries have won several contract awards valued at USD700 mn for licensing, engineering services, engineering and procurement, and EPC activities.
BW Energy formed
BW Offshore plans to establish BW Energy as a separate exploration and production company. It will invite external investors to finance development of the recently acquired Maromba field offshore Brazil, and development at the Dussafu Marin permit offshore Gabon.
